SkyWarn: A Michigan Winter Weather Talk with the National Weather Service

SkyWarn will highlight and discuss winter climatology, including various types of winter storm systems and explain the impact large scale climate trends like El Nino and La Nina has on winter weather in metro Detroit. Additionally, SkyWarn will explain how these winter storm systems develop, also how the National Weather Service (NWS) utilizes various forecast tools to issue winter storm warnings and educate citizens on how to report snowfall and other hazardous winter weather conditions to the NWS.
