Sky Lantern Live Music Evening

Step into a cinematic live music night at St Gabriel’s, Pimlico — May 8, 2026 at 7:30 PM.

Join us for an orchestral evening lit up by floating lanterns above the stage and along the aisles. As a warm glow fills the space, listeners are invited to enjoy a symphony of live music.

The programme features iconic film scores including those from Game of Thrones, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Godfather, and Scent of a Woman. Each piece is re-imagined through a balance of Western and Asian instruments. Piano, strings, and oboe are joined by bamboo flute and guzheng, lending familiar themes new depth.
