This event is ALL AGESSkip The Needle is an Oakland-based queer female quartet made up of musical superstars of the Bay Area; Vicki Randle (The Tonight Show, Mavis Staples), Shelley Doty (Shelley Doty X- Tet, Jambay), Kofy Brown (Kofy Brown Band, Sistas in the Pit) and Katie Cash (Katie Cash Band, Year of the Fist). Together, they make politically astute, rock n’ roll-funk. Their songs are musically diverse and carry a strong, socially conscious message, delivered with extreme joy.
Bitch is a longstanding queer music icon who Yahoo Entertainment called “a feminist force that the world needs now more than ever” when she released “Bitchcraft,” her 9th studio album, on the legendary label K*ll Rock Stars in 2022. With her signature electric violin and lyrical smarts front and center over huge beats and deep synths, Bitch coined the genre “Poet Pop” and she has been touring nationally ever since, igniting her loyal following and inspiring new followers with her colorful and bold stage shows. An evening of electric violin-forward poetic pop, storytelling and feminist queries. Bitch, (formerly of Bitch and Animal,) brings songs from her recent K*ll Rock Stars release, “Bitchcraft.”
