Skinner + Skinner features father and son artists Arthur and Joe Skinner in their first-ever joint exhibition. Arthur’s 50-year involvement with Eckerd College creates a backdrop of deep sentiment for education and instilled an appreciation for educators in both father and son. Each artist presents their separate and diverse bodies of work through keen eye for detail. Using traditional methods, both create contemporary works of art paying homage to the overlooked and the ephemeral.
LUSTER is a juried exhibition for students attending a visual arts program in a Florida college or university, with ceramics as the focus. This exhibition gives viewers the chance to see the future of ceramics in the Sunshine State.
Presence Felt celebrates the profound impact of ceramics educators across Florida. Showcasing a diverse range of styles and techniques, this collection honors the legacy of our state’s leading ceramic artists, whose work embodies both tradition and forward-thinking creativity. These professors exemplify leadership in the ceramic arts, inspiring generations with their unparalleled talent and dedication to the craft.
Lisa Bagley: Hopes + Fears: My Diary of Cancer is the retired art educator’s cathartic illustration of her experiences and mental struggles with life and mortality.
