Skills Co-op is a free, community-based programme delivering digital skills, AI literacy and employability training here in Wirral. This Discovery Session is your first, no-pressure look at what we do, ahead of our full pilot launching January 2027.
What to expect
- A relaxed, informal afternoon, no computers, no tests, nothing to get right or wrong
- A hands-on taster of the learning itself, not just a talk about it
- Real talks from people working in tech sales and tech support, in plain language, on what these careers actually look like
- A look at our four learning pathways: Project and Product Delivery, Data and AI Analytics, Product Design and Marketing, and Software Development
- Refreshments and a genuinely welcoming space
Who it's for
Anyone curious about a future in digital work, particularly:
- Young people not currently in education, employment or training
- Adults rebuilding life after contact with the justice system
- Women returning to work after a career break or caring
You don't need any experience, any qualifications, or a firm decision already made. This is a first look, nothing more.

2:40pm, Q&A with the team
3:00pm, refreshments and one-to-one conversations
