Ensuring participation and enjoyment are the very fundamentals of the development of the women’s game in the county, the Wildcats Centre will be one of our central girls-only sessions.
Leicester City in the Community's Wildcats Centre will provide structured and fun weekly sessions for participants to:
- Improve their playing ability
- Gain extra training alongside grassroots football
- Get and keep active
- Make new friends
- Build confidence
- Have fun whilst playing football.
These sessions are designed and delivered by experienced and enthusiastic coaches, which can work alongside any grassroots training the participants may already be involved in.
As part of our Skills Centre offer, we can also look to progress players outside of sessions in terms of helping find suitable grassroots clubs and provide pathways into those.
Costing £22 for four weeks, seven-to-13-year-old girls have the opportunity to develop their footballing ability with sessions delivered by FA and DBS-licensed Leicester City in the Community coaches.
Participants are encouraged to bring appropriate clothing and footwear, shinpads and plenty to drink.
