The Skills Bootcamp in EV Maintenance is a nine-week programme designed to upskill individuals with existing professional or educational expertise within the Automotive sector, or those responsible for vehicle fleets within organisations transitioning to electric and hybrid technology, with the skills needed to service and maintain these vehicles.

Learners will explore EV technology, including high-voltage systems and charging infrastructure, alongside the safety protocols required when handling and repairing EV components.

The Skills Bootcamp is underpinned by the IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/ Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement that learners will complete at the conclusion of the course that will enable them to take on additional responsibilities to safely diagnose, repair and maintain Electric and Hybrid vehicles in line with industry regulations.

The course combines classroom-based theory with practical workshop sessions in specialist automotive facilities at Truro Campus.
