Explore how the psoas muscle can present as a catalyst or an obstacle during pregnancy and labor. Bec Conant will demonstrate simple movements you can use to help clients release the psoas, and learn how to recognize when and what YOU can do for your clients in pregnancy and during the labor process.
Muscular obstacles are commonly caused by anxiety about giving birth. Lorenza will lead us in an exploration of how doulas and CBEs can address fears of clients and participants, and nurture safe space to reduce stresses and thus impact the psoas emotionally.
Let’s ask: how can we listen to the fears birthing people hold, and help them identify what safety looks like to them, and find safe way forward?
