Skill Builder1: Improving Accuracy & Handling (No Revolvers): June2021

Pre-Requisite is Handgun Form and Accuracy. You musty have completed Form & Accuracy to take Skill Builder 1.

NOTE: DUE TO COVID19 PROTOCOLS YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A PROTECTIVE MASK WITH YOU.

WE WILL HAVE HAND WASHING STATIONS AS WELL AS SANITIZER, AND WILL BE PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING.

Students must bring their own firearm (no Revolvers) and 200 rounds of ammunition. (4 boxes)

NOTICE- meet at the RANGE approximately 10 minutes before class.

-           In this course you will have an opportunity to increase your knowledge of defensive shooting and will learn techniques for using your handgun in self defense.  This class will develop muscle memory, proper form,  and pistol manipulation skills while applying essential techniques that will establish a foundation for more advanced shooting.  

Emphasis is on accurate shot placement and not speed…doing everything right and slow to build proper muscle memory and technique so when you do move fast, you do it right and hit where you need to.  You will learn to Handling jams and malfunctions, and performing tactical magazine changes, as well as work with techniques that will enable you to effectively engage an attacker. 

Pre-Requisites:

-          Completion of Form & Accuracy

-          Ability to independently load, fire, and unload firearm.

Class size is limited to increase instructor to student ratio. 1:4.  We watch you close and keep it safe!

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

• Defensive semi-automatic handgun (NO REVOLVERS)
• 200 rounds of good quality practice ammo (4 boxes)
• MINIMUM OF 2 magazines
• Closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip plops)
• Crew neck shirt
• Hearing protection
• Eye protection
• Baseball type Hat
• Water  (we will take several breaks for hydration)

Range Fee is included in Registration.
