Sketchy Tuesday

Sketchy Tuesday is an urban sketching adventure. Gather with architects, sketchers, designers, and enthusiasts to sketch the city and chat with a great community. Grab your lunch, sketchbook, and drawing utensils, meet and sketch! Both sessions are free and open to the public. The event will held at the new Center for Architecture and Design, First Floor Cafe. The tour is led by Dan Hogman, AIA, who will present a few drawing techniques he employs in his daily sketches, based on drawing subjects within the interior space or the adjacent street corner. This is a good opportunity to observe the built environment and explore different media techniques (at will), based on pencil, ink, markers, and watercolor. Feel free to practice the art of freehand sketching and connect with like-minded sketchers! The event will conclude with an informal pin-up and discussion.
