Sketching + Journaling in the park!
About this Event
Join us for the return of Asase Aban: Elders and Sprouts, a community-centered workshop series bringing together Black youth, adults, and elders through art, land, and shared learning.
As part of the TRCA's Bramalea SNAP and BYFC, this reflective workshop invites participants to slow down and observe.
Using custom BYFC journals, we will explore sketching and journaling as tools for documenting growth, memory, and care. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their surrounds and translate their observations into drawings, writing, and creative expression.
Grounded in storytelling and mindfulness, this session supports deeper connection to process, practice, and self.
