Let’s get industrial! Great urban and industrial options for all. Easy stroll to west side of Platte River for river angle.
Not much seating - so bring a travel chair or stool.
We’ll meet-n-greet at 10am in the parking lot on the NE corner of 13th and Zuni then get our sketch on. At noon meet back at same spot for the sketch throw down.
The steam plant was built in 1901 to power the Denver street car system, then powered the city for 100 years. While Xcel owns it, the plant was decommissioned years ago and its historic landmark status is still unfolding. Let’s capture an iconic piece of Denver history.
