We are excited to invite our USk Chapter to meet special guest, Pat Southern-Pearce at this sketch meet. (No instruction, but she will be sketching with us.)
Starting at 1 pm please meet inside street garden gate on Orange Street (toward back side of house.) Sign in and obtain name tag from volunteer host, Judy Covil! Please attend to meet and sketch with special guest, Pat Southern-Pearce as well as workshop participants who are in town.
We will be sketching the gardens and exterior. There are covered porches in case of rain!
Originally built in 1852, the Latimer House & Gardens is a beautifully preserved example of Italianate architectural style favored by the merchants of the Victorian era. The Lower Cape Fear Historical Society is also headquartered at the historic Latimer House.
Later on - gather to review sketches and photo opp.
Restrooms inside. Free Parking on opposite side of 3rd Street.
