Sketch Lab at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center!

Building a strong foundation in drawing through observation, technique, and practice. This weeklong intensive workshop focuses on building core skills including draftsmanship, line economy, shape, design, gesture, character construction, proportion, and perspective.
Studding from the student’s favorite cartoon/comic book characters the student will design their own character or characters, producing a model sheet, character turn around and emotion sheet.
This is a stand-alone class but is designed as a companion to the 'Fundamentals of Animation' course also offered this summer. Come draw with us!
