INSTRUCTOR: DANIEL DUNCAN

Daniel Duncan (known around here as just "Duncan") has been actively writing, producing, and performing sketch comedy at Mettlesome since 2023. He studied improv and sketch comedy under instructors from Mettlesome, UCB, iO Theater, and The Second City.
Duncan was the Head Writer for Mettlesome's 2024 holiday sketch show "Merry-ish" and the Technical Director for the 2025 holiday sketch show "Unwrapped". He was a founding Co-Captain of "Mettlesketch", serving as a writer, performer, and director for the first season of monthly shows as well as "Rewind: The Best of Mettlesketch".
A highlight of his sketch career (so far) has been working with SNL Senior Writer Bryan Tucker on the Mettlesome-produced show "Bullish", for which Duncan was a Writer and the Technical Director.
In his free time he enjoys watching Dropout, playing D&D, and riding bicycles with his lovely wife Megan (who also teaches sketch comedy). She's a beautiful ray of sunshine that did NOT trick him into putting this in his bio.
