Skerzo returns to wrap up the 2024 season with a compelling program of piano duos! This evening features two of Skerzo's original members, Dayoung Wi and Chai Jie Low, making an exciting return to performing. This evening features extraordinary works from Mozart, Brahms, Liszt and Richard Rodney Bennett. Opening with Mozart's sparkling Sonata for Two Pianos in D major, Bennett's Four Piece Suite follows with its experimentation of genres - salsa, blues and hard rock. The tide is set to turn with compelling arrangements for 8 hands, featuring Brahms's Academic Overture and Liszt's Grand Galop Chromatique. This fabulous program of artistic brilliance and innovation is not to be missed.
