We have a fun family night at Skate City planned for Tuesday, Sept 28th from 4 to 6 pm. Blue Heron Elementary will be the only one in Skate City at this time. Be sure to send your child with a mask as they may have to wear it when not on the skating floor. Please do not drop your child off if they are under 8 (unless they have an older sibling). We have a limited number of volunteers to help the kids while they skate but the more parents at the event the better! If you do drop off your older child you will need to sign them in at the door. This year we are also running a contest for the class with the most skaters! The winning class receives a custom trophy to display proudly in their classroom! If we have 100 skaters or more, then the teacher with the most skaters wins $100 for the classroom!Admission is $7 and Skate Rental is $3 (if you have your own skates please feel free to bring them). Skate City has a Dinner Special for $4 and you can choose from a Hot Dog, Chips, and Drink OR 2 Slices of Cheese Pizza and Drink. Address for Skate City is 5801 S.
