Our recycling depot will be in our usual spot in the parking lot of the Bank Street School (Bank + Leighton) from 10am to noon. For a list of items that can be recycled, visit: http://www.southjubilee.ca/recycling.html#accepted
In order to accommodate social distancing and lineups, please allow yourself extra time to recycle. Please wear a mask and keep two metres between you and your neighbour.
To help speed things along, please:
Sort your recycling material into the separate categories before leaving home.make sure your plastic is CLEAN. Dirty plastic can't be recycled.
Only WHITE food containers/meat trays accepted. Coloured ones are unfortunately garbage. Containers should be clean but are okay if stained.
Payment is by donation. Please bring sufficient change, ie loonies & toonies, or small bills to cover your donation to minimize the need to make change when you pay.
When attending the SJNA plastic recycling area, you’ll note the pavement is clearly marked to guide the traffic flow. The bins are distanced appropriately, and any waiting people are to be lined up six feet apart and wearing masks. Please avoid gathering in small groups to socialize before or after drop-off 😊
