SIU Alumni Tailgate Village @ SEMO

Join the SIU Alumni Association as we bring the Saluki spirit to Cape Girardeau for the SIU vs. SEMO Annual 'War for the Wheel' football game! We’re setting up a small alumni tailgate—and we’re inviting YOU to help us turn it into a Saluki Tailgate Village! The Association and your fellow alumni will be setting up in the parking lot behind Kent Library.

Whether you're coming solo or rolling in with family and friends, bring your tents, grills, chairs, coolers, and maroon gear to help us turn the SEMO into Saluki territory. This is a BYOB and bring-your-own-everything affair—just like the good old days—so pack your favorite tailgate treats and let’s celebrate together!

The Association will provide some snacks and refreshments, while supplies last.

Let’s show SEMO what Saluki pride looks like. Come early, stay loud, and help us cheer on the Dawgs as they take on the Redhawks!

Visit and enter the promo code SIUALUMNI. Tickets are for seats in Section 109, directly behind the Saluki bench, with Sections 108 and 110 as reserves. You will be able to pick your own seats.
