Site Tour - Leighs UOCCR Site Christchurch

Join us for a tour of one of the largest current active building sites in central Christchurch. Leighs will give an overview and site tour of the University of Otago Christchurch’s Medical School's new building describing the 5 storey, single basement development.

The building is in close proximity to the River Avon and existing adjacent buildings and has key retaining and waterproofing design and construction features to accommodate these constraints, as well as complex building services components related to end use, a unitised façade, architectural brise soleil design and internal atrium area.

Networking post tour at the Pegasus Arms next door to site, drink on arrival and snacks provided.

Site requirements: ALL attendees must wear their own steel capped boots and bring their own hard hat and high visibility vest. Failure to comply with the PPE requirements WILL result in refusal of entry. Please do not register for this event if you cannot satisfy the PPE requirements. If you need assistance with supplying your own hard hat and/or high visibility vest, please contact the organiser.
