Join SISTERS S.I.R.E.N. TRAINING!
Sisters Uncut are running our new S.I.R.E.N (Safety Intervention Resistance Education Network) Training.
Do you know how to safely intervene if you witness street harassment? Join us for an interactive workshop exploring practical tools for de-escalation, bystander intervention, and community care. Learn strategies you can use in real-life situations to help create safer public spaces. You’ll leave with simple techniques you can use immediately, whether on public transport, in pubs, at school gates, or on the streets of Walthamstow.
Rooted in feminist and community-based approaches, this training responds to a worrying rise in street harassment in Walthamstow. We want to build confidence, collective responsibility, and solidarity, so we’re better equipped to look out for one another and challenge harm when we see it.
This training is open to all women (trans, intersex and cis), all those who experience oppression as women (including non-binary and gender non-conforming people). No previous experience needed.
Children are welcome!
