Sisters Qiyam

Unbreakable Sisterhood, the sister's comittee of the Downtown Islamic Association will be hosting a Qiyam night for young sisters at Al-Faruq Centre. The purpose of this event is to:encourage youth to visit and engage with programs at the Masjidbuild a community for young girls with a foundation rooted in Islamprovide an opportunity for Islamic learning, team building and social fun in a safe and halal environmentActivities will include a halaqa, Islamic trivia, a wellness session and more! Dinner, breakfast & snacks will be provided. 

This event will be for girls from 14 to 24 years old. Groups will be made of youth ages 14-17 and 18-24 years old. All individuals who are under 18 years old must obtain parental permission before registering. This will be confirmed by volunteers on a later date. 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLYTHERE IS A LIMITED AMOUNT OF SLOTS AVAILABLE. Spots will be secured on a first come first basis. In order to complete your registration you must do 2 things.1. Fill out this Google Document form2. Go to the eventbrite link below and purchase your ticket. Be sure to complete BOTH tasks as there is a limited amount of tickets available on Eventbrite and payment as well as the completion of this form are required to SECURE your spot at the Qiyam.
