Sister's In Truth & Roberta's House H.O.P.E. Project: Women's Healing Retreat offers a rejuvenating retreat designed specifically for women. This gathering provides a supportive environment where participants can navigate their grief, engage in healing practices, and find solace among others who share similar experiences. Through various activities and guided sessions, women can move through their grief journey, fostering emotional recovery and personal growth.

- Show “A Spoonful of Sorrow” – 9:45 to 10:00

Guest speakers from film: Lori Alston, Mariah Williams, Kiyona Gordon, and Morgan Banks as Facilitator – discuss the journey with grief and the making of the film. 10:00 to 10:45.

Q&A discussion – women will be able to ask questions but also share their journey. 10:45 to 11:15.

- Receiving Resource: Life and Death: The Role of DoulasIntroduction to Roberta’s house and the role of the center within the community. Talk about inexpensive things that help with coping in the journey. Panel discussion with birth doula and death doula about their roles, how they got into this field, and why this is a resource.

- Celebrate the Cry: A look into movement and dance therapy for grief. Learn about the mental and physical relationship of grief.The historical significance of healing through dance. The last ten minutes will leave space for active sitting and silence.
