Each year, family members and community members gather on October 4th across the country. Together we honour MMIWG2S and LGBTQQIA people and provide a healing space for families and loved ones who have been impacted by violence. In solidarity, we express that MMIWG2S and LGBTQQIA people's lives are valued and loved and demand action.
It is important that we continue to support each other in a visible, accessible way. By hosting or attending a Sisters In Spirit Vigil, you are participating in the movement. Your participation and vocal support puts pressure on the government and on society to recognize that this crisis must end NOW. Demand Action and Justice NOW.
