Sisterly Love Collective 2026 Work/Shop
About this Event
Join Sisterly Love Collective for Work/Shop 2026, a full-day conference designed for small business owners and professionals in hospitality who are ready to invest in themselves and their businesses. From morning pastries to an evening happy hour, the day is packed with practical sessions, meaningful conversations, and connection with Philadelphia's most dynamic community of women in business.
Topics span the full landscape of leadership from financial literacy and strategic planning to confidence building, mental wellness, storytelling, AI, and navigating the city's funding landscape. Featured speakers include Anna Gordon on building a sustainable confidence practice, Michele Schina on strategic planning for small business owners, a live Women on the Line P&L Workshop, and Natalia Lepore Hagan and Cassandra Burnett leading an interactive founder storytelling session with real-time feedback. Representatives from PIDC, the Philadelphia Department of Commerce, and the Small Business Action Team will also be on hand to walk attendees through available grants, loans, and city resources. Lunch is included.
The day closes with a keynote from Molly Irani, author of Service Ready, who shares how the principles of hospitality — showing up fully, building sustainable culture, and leading with heart — apply to every business, not just restaurants. It's a conversation about what it really means to take care of your team, your customers, and yourself without burning out. Molly's book is available as an optional add-on at a reduced price for attendees who want to take the conversation home with them.
