Sistering Circle: Exploring Self-Love

Self-love is more than bubble baths and manicures. Self-love is about acceptance, forgiveness, respect, and care. bell hooks says that "One of the best guides to how to be self-loving is to give ourselves the love we are often dreaming about receiving from others.

For many women, it is easier to express our love for others rather than extending that same grace and care to ourselves.

In our time of sisterhood we will weave a safe and sacred container, sing, share our hearts through a talkingg circle, and join in a collective self-love ritual.

Our talking circle will focus on: the love we haven't received, the love we've longed for, and ways we can practice self-love.

When we gather in safe and sacred circles and share our hearts, we realize we are not alone we heal together, and we become stronger vessels of love for the healing of the world.
