Sister Golden Hair

Sister Golden Hair The Band is an all-female-fronted cover band based in Central Texas that pays tribute to the harmony-rich hit songs of the ’60s and ’70s.

Inspired by a shared love of the golden age of modern songwriting, an affinity for classic LPs, and a passion for harmony, front-women Barbara Nesbitt, Wendy Colonna, and Emily Shirley are committed to creating an experience that brings audiences all the good feels of these classic, soundtrack songs.

In 2022, the band invited talented multi-instrumentalist, Chris Hawkes to join the group. Chris brings familiar and reimagined solos, bass, percussion, and harmony parts to the four piece band.
