Bakersfield Sister City relationship with Wakayama, Japan
was established in 1961. This friendship has fostered cultural, educational, business, and civic exchanges that have enriched the lives of countless adults and school children in Bakersfield and in Wakayama. Over the years other sister cities have also been established with Bakersfield. Join us for an OFF-SITE TOUR of our Sister City Gardens at Mill Creek at 1:30pm!
