Join us for auditions for the Barn Theatre’s upcoming production of Sister Act, the uplifting musical comedy smash based on the beloved 1992 film! Under the direction of Kyle Weber, this high-energy production features original music by legendary composer Alan Menken and is packed with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable characters.
When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she’s placed in protective custody in the last place anyone would think to look: a convent. Disguised as a nun, Deloris struggles to adapt to convent life and quickly clashes with the strict Mother Superior. But through music, friendship, and a little disco flair, Deloris transforms the struggling choir and inspires an entire community, all while trying to stay hidden from the criminals on her trail. Filled with laughter, heart, and soul, Sister Act is a joyful celebration of friendship and finding your voice.

Audition Information:
Auditions will take place on Saturday, June 20th with time slots beginning at 6:00 PM. Callbacks will be held the following day, Sunday, June 21st beginning at 6:00 PM by invitation only.
To register for auditions, please complete the audition form at the link below and select your preferred audition time slot at least 24hours prior to the audition date. Rehearsals will run Sunday through Thursday, with rehearsal times and schedule to be announced at the read-through.
What to Expect:
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song that best showcases your vocal range and abilities. A Bluetooth speaker will be available for accompanying tracks. Vocal auditions will be held privately in the presence of only the production team.
Please dress comfortably for the dance portion of auditions. Dance auditions will be conducted in small groups.
