About this Event
This Sistah Circle Paris day centers the experiences, realities and voices of English-speaking women of African descent living in France.
Sistah Circle Paris members participate free of charge.
Non-members who feel connected to the purpose of the day are welcome to register.
Our afternoon conversations will focus particularly on what this political and social moment means for English-speaking women of African descent in France and the United States — and on the actions we are willing to take individually and collectively.

Working in France — with Veronica Kugler
Our own Veronica Krugler has worked in for-profit and nonprofit organizations, large and small companies, French organizations and American ones.
Bring your own experiences, questions, frustrations, discoveries and strategies.
Retiring in France — with Fay Hutchinson
Our own Fay Hutchinson will be back, this time with a focus on retirement.
What do we need to understand and prepare as we approach — or live — this stage of life in France?
Looking Good — with Cheryl Pegues
Looking good begins on the inside — AND it is about finding OUR own signature style.
Wills & Directives + Financial Literacy — time to DO the work
These will be hands-on working sessions, using prepared workshop packages.

Theodore Parker abolitionist declared in his 1853 sermon, that the arc of the moral universe bends toward justice. Martin Luther King Jr. carried those words into the Civil Rights Movement. AND the arc does not bend by itself.
