Sista Nickey has had the privilege of opening for and providing live and studio vocals and percussion with reggae greats including Maxi Priest, Anthony B, Corey Harris, Glen Washington, Johnny Osborne, Taj Weekes, Ziggy Marley, Akae Beka, The Itals, The Melodians, The Meditations, and Raging Fyah, both as a solo artist and as a former founding member of Mighty Joshua & The Zion #5.
Founded in 2023 as a monthly roots community jam with Chris "Peanut" Whitley of Stable Roots Productions (keys, producer, musical director), The One Drop Collective features Joshua David Robinson Poole (guitar, bass), Drummah Jay Smith (drums), Marcus Eshadd Parker (drums), Joe Bailey (djembe, vocals), Ralph "Crucial Fyah" Dujour (bass, vocals), Tony Elam (audio engineer), and The Lady Drops—The Collective's operational core of Ayanna McMullen, Shani Bakari-Holmes, and Swannelle Wiggins and powerhouse supporting vocalists Sam Reed, Shawn Chappelle, and Kia Bennett.
Sista Nickey McMullen & The One Drop Collective embody a palpable spirit of intention, unity, and camaraderie wherever they perform.
