About this Event

Join us for our Inaugural SIS-YPFP Research Symposium: Reimagining Foreign Policy in a Transforming World. The symposium will feature research from the SIS graduate community and YPFP membership focusing on emerging technologies, AI, nation building, and our ever-changing world order.

Engage in meaningful dialogue, gain professional connections and support the research of fellow young professions. Associate Dean of Research Simon Nicholson will open the symposium. In the afternoon, join breakout groups for intimate discussions around translating academic work for non-academic publications.

Panel 1: Security Architecture in an Age of Geopolitical and Tech Disruptions

Panel 2: Reimagining Legitimacy, Sovereignty, and Narrative Power as Tools of Foreign Policy

After the symposium, join us for an evening of networking at the Niskanen Center rooftop for light bites and drinks.
