Sirsy is singer-songwriter rock duo with a charming intensity and lots of heart. Sirsy is fronted by a charismatic singer-songwriter named Mel - who's also on drums, piano, flute and melodica. Mel's incredible voice and passionate delivery immediately draw you in. (AND she also plays bass on a keyboard while she's rocking the drums at the same time). Mel's bandmate, husband, co-writer, & bestie is Rich - who masterfully plays a well-loved and road worn Rickenbacker through a pedal board full of vintage effects. (Live, he also plays bass on a pedal board with his feet!) These 2 multi-instrumentalists manage to sound like a full band and somehow do it all with big smiles on their faces. Sirsy's live shows are filled with honest, intimate, storytelling that is an art all to itself. They wow crowds at 200+ shows/year all over the US. Sometimes even with their nerdy jokes. Sirsy's warmed stages for: Grace Potter, Brandi Carlile, Train, Maroon 5, Collective Soul, Cheap Trick, Patty Smyth, Lifehouse, Spindoctors, Blues Traveler, and many more. Their songs have been featured on HBO, PBS, MTV, NPR, and on Showtime's hit TV show "Shameless". Their last few records were produced by Grammy-Winner Paul Q Kolderie.Come celebrate life with them!

“Clever, smart songs that have more hooks than a tackle box. Krahmer has one of the most powerful and flexible voices you’ll ever hear.” — Times Union (Albany, NY)“It’s pretty clear to see that these two have remarkable souls. The stories shared and the honesty about life are remarkably endearing and a lost art.” — Andy O’ Riley, 100.9 FM/98.9 FM (MI)SIRSY is NOT simply a two piece, they are a head scratching, WOW! The guitar player is flawless and raw. Clean enough to be enjoyed, and just edgy enough to make you grin. The lead singer/drummer/bass player was stunning. — SXSW Music Blog (Austin, TX)
