Siren and Seer

Siren & Seer is the new vision of producer/multi-instrumentalist saQi and vocalist/songwriter Diamonde. This pair of Nevada City locals offer a fresh take on live electronic music by merging traditional idioms of Americana, folk, gypsy and blues with cutting edge dance music genres. S&S tastefully reimagine sounds of the past for a modern context and create a multi-dimensional world where refinement of a Victorian era can co-exist with roots of Appalachia and rawness of the urban underground. Those who gravitate to Dirtwire and Moontricks will find this irresistible.

A major goal of the project is to bring a realness and vulnerability to the dance floor while also purveying a seductively hot and undeniably heavy sound. Siren and Seer have even deeper intentions as they seek to represent the voices silenced, the cries unheard and the spirits searching for a way home.

The night begins and ends with fiery DJ sets from the vibemaster himself, Maha. Having already ignited crowds at the Texas Eclipse Festival and Lightning in a Bottle, he signature electronica style forward. Normally a house music alchemist, he will be hybridizing his approach to expertly complement the sounds of Siren and Seer.
