Sips at the Station Benefitting Heroes for Hallie Grace

Get excited and join us for Savannah’s most eclectic networking event series, , as we spotlight a rotation of nonprofits each month. We are excited to announce June 18th’s event will benefit . Heroes for Hallie Grace is a 501(c)3 organization aimed at raising awareness, funding research, and improving the lives of individuals and families impacted by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), in Hallie's memory.

EB is quite literally "the worst disease you've never heard of." It is a rare genetic connective tissue disorder that affects 1 out of every 20,000 births in the US (roughly 200 children each year). There are many genetic variations and the symptoms vary widely as well; however, all versions of EB share the same prominent symptom of extremely fragile skin that blisters or tears from any friction or trauma to the skin, which is why they're known as the "Butterfly Children." EB affects both genders and all racial and ethnic groups equally. There is currently no treatment or cure.

Hosted by Ardsley Station, Savannah Master Calendar, and Simply Savannah Marketing, admission is a $10 donation and includes a complimentary beverage from Ardsley Station’s special bar menu and an assortment of unique, off-menu, hors d’oeuvres, all while enjoying live music. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase, and 100% of proceeds from admission and raffle sales go to Heroes for Hallie Grace.
