Sips & Spins: Co-Hosted by Unit E Records

Join us for a special edition of Sips & Spins, Swallow Hill’s record club, co-hosted by Unit E Records! Each session of Sips & Spins features a community member spinning vinyl from their personal collection, paired with a specialty cocktail crafted by our Café staff.

For this event, Thadeaous Mighell, Sr. and Gregg Ziemba, co-founders of Unit E Records, will be our Guest Spinners. As longtime organizers in Denver’s music and arts scene, Thad and Gregg have been instrumental in fostering a creative community that is the backbone of a thriving local economy. Beyond founding Unit E, they have led projects that solidify Denver’s identity as a national creative hub, with a strong commitment to supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Disabled, and other marginalized artists.

Thad and Gregg will be spinning records from Unit E’s catalog and their personal collections, sharing stories about the label’s journey, the artists they support, and what it takes to run an independent record label with fairness and integrity.
