SIPR Postgraduate Symposium - Monday 23rd May 2022

We are excited to welcome all our wonderful policing postgraduate and early career researchers back to this wonderful event

This year the symposium will be on immediately before the Scottish International Policing Conference 2022 (SIPC2022 - full information here). We hope to merge these two events and encourage our postgraduate delegates to attend the full conference as well as invite the wider conference delegation to come and support the next generation of policing researchers.

A core part of the symposium is showcases the excellent work being undertaken by our Postgraduate and ECR communities. As such we are calling for presenters and poster contributions. If you are interested in contributing to the postgraduate event, please contact Postgraduate Coordinators Larissa Engelmann ([email protected]) or Simon-Lewis Menzies ([email protected]) to indicate your interest.

All presenters and poster contributors will receive complementary tickets to attend both days of the SIPC2022 (usually £10 per day). Additionally, there will be prizes available for best presentation (presented on the day) and best poster (which will be determined by popular vote and presented at the end of the conference).

This year we are asking for short presentations taking the format of '5 slides in 5 minutes' and your our research can be at any stage of the process.

This is a free event with lunch provided and is truly a great opportunity to develop presentation skills, network with peers and meet key experts in the field.

P.S We are also seeking volunteers to support the delivery of the conference across 23 - 24 May. All volunteers will receive complimentary tickets to both days of the conference AND the conference dinner.
