Sip & Write with The Egalitarian

Calling all writers, contributors and those who love a good natter !!

Following the success of the first Sip & Write workshop we carried out as part of the incredible York International Women's Week 2024 programme, we are joining the line up for a second year running.

As is the event's namesake, we will be sipping along the way, so feel free to buy a beverage from the bar (just a soft drink, if you like). It really doesn't matter if you have experience behind you, we'll support you every step of the way throughout the workshop and any independent time - we'll even be on hand to help with inspiration should you need it.

Plonkers Wine Bar in York has graciously agreed to host our afternoon - the event is free of charge, but we'd appreciate any attendees to 'pay as you feel' if you'd like to donate to future fun.

Although tickets are free, we do have a max capacity of 15 attendees to keep the workshop intimate and comfortable. We'll guide you through a series of tips and tricks, followed by intermittent 'independent' time whereby you can spend time planning (and writing, if you feel like it!) your piece; bouncing ideas off each other with our guidance should you need it.
