From Anna: I am a Costume Designer and Educator happy to call New Orleans home. Currently, I serve as Costume Design Instructor at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, focusing on Designing for Theatre and Film through sustainable and accessible practice. I came to the world of costume design through my performance career, as a graduate of The School at Steppenwolf, The Academy at Black Box Acting, and the BFA Acting Studio at The University of Mississippi, where I also worked for the department costume shop and gained my technical knowledge of garment construction. I spent 7 years in Chicago theatre, working with many performances in many capacities as an artist. I am a facilitator for Global Hive Laboratories, an international devising collective where I have served as writer, performer, accessibility designer, Viewpoints Movement instructor, costume designer, and chef in Chicago, London, Paris, Piacenza, and Oaxaca. Film/TV costume credits include: Interview with the Vampire (AMC), Daisy Jones and the Six (Amazon), Five Days at Memorial (Apple+). I am passionate about creating change for a more just and inclusive world.
