Ever wanted shoes that stop people in their tracks? In this hands-on, fun workshop (& SIP!), you’ll learn how to transform ordinary footwear into bold, high-shine statement pieces using foil leaf and adhesive—the same technique used in fashion, costume, and art design.
This workshop is beginner-friendly but technique-driven, meaning you’ll leave with real skills you can repeat at home—not just a pretty pair of shoes!
What You’ll Learn:
- How to properly prep leather & synthetic shoes for foil application
- How to apply glue for clean, controlled adhesion
- Timing secrets: knowing exactly when glue is ready for foil
- Foil leaf placement, burnishing & layering techniques
- How to fix mistakes (tears, patchy areas, over-adhesion)
- Sealing methods to protect the shine without dulling the finish
- Care tips so your shiny shoes last
Just bring FOOTWEAR to transform! MUST BE leather or imitation leather for the best results. We recommend you wear something that can get a little GLITTER on it.
