Sip & Sew Panty Party!

You'll learn to make a simple pair of panties with your sewing machine and/or serger in this super fun class that we're sure will end up a panty PARTY!

Bring your besties, (or make some here!) bring a 1/2- 5/8th of a yard (for size 2x plus. This pattern will work to size 5x) of 50% four way stretch fabric. Cotton Lycra or ribbed stretch fabric works best for this pattern. 2-3 yards of elastic lingerie trim, fold over elastic or stretch lace for the trim.

You can purchase the supplies at the event if you have trouble finding them for an additional $20.

This is a great way to get comfortable with stretch fabric, elastic, sewing a pattern, measuring sizing, and using a serger. Come with a basic understanding of sewing, but mastery isn't required. This pattern is a great beginner pattern.

Machines are available to borrow. If you bring your own, please don't forget your pedal, a stretch or jersey needle, power cords and thread (polyester thread is great for this). You can do this project with a sewing machine that zigzags or a serger.

This is an adult only event.

We're using the Vicki pattern from Madeformermaids.com to stay consistent. It has multiple choices of height so you'll be comfortable wearing them and can choose how you want them to fit you. Their supply list is in the photos for better understanding.
You're welcome to purchase and download your own pattern from this website and try it out before hand or to use at home, but I will have copies for our classroom use.
