Sip & Pipe: Mexican Embroidery Cake Deco

About this class:

Join us for a colorful class where buttercream becomes your needle and the cake is your canvas! In this class, Owner and Pastry Chef Mayra Garcia, will teach you piping techniques to create beautiful Mexican Embroidery designs. Each student will receive a 5” crumb coated cake ready to be iced and decorated. Students will practice on a dummy cake during the class before piping on a real cake. Mimosangria for 21+, n/a bevs also provided.

All The Details:

• Age Level: 13+
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Aprons, all supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 4 students.
• Class will run approximately 2 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

Meet Your Instructor:

Pastry Chef Mayra Garcia has been designing cakes, cookies, and sweets for as long as she can remember. She has competed on Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge and has been featured on local morning shows. She has a passion for helping others learn the joy and art of cake and cookie decorating and she is thrilled to have an opportunity to share her skills with you!
