Come to this unique workshop where you will learn both the art of candle making and metal embossing! You will create your very own floral inspired metal embossed "sleeve" for your non-toxic candle. Both of these crafts are beginner friendly and produce a completely one of a kind end product. The perfect addition to your spring decor or to give away as a present! Locally made, by YOU!
ABOUT THE CANDLE MAKING CLASS:
Using non-toxic and cruelty-free ingredients, you will learn how to make your very own 9 ounce candle from Emily, Owner of La Vie Luna Apothecary and Luna Candle Bar. You will learn the art of candle-making, how to custom blend your very own fragrance oils to make a one-of-a-kind candle, and pour your very own candle in a beautiful vessel.
ABOUT THE METAL EMBOSSING CLASS:
Join Keely from Made in Manomet as she teaches you how to create your own unique metal embossing in a spring floral design that will be a sleeve for your custom candle. Each workshop is designed so we all get started on the same page, at the entry level. TO EASE INTO THIS MATERIAL, YOU WILL START WITH A TRACER. This will allow you to successfully transfer your flowers to metal. This is a super fun and forgiving medium to work with. Your finished piece will be adhered to your glass candle vessel.
About the Maker: Keely Farrell is an art educator with 15+ years of experience and the creative mind behind Made in Manomet, a small business located in Manomet, Massachusetts. Specializing in live metal embossing workshops and DIY Metal Emboss Kits, Keely’s passion for art education shines through in this unique offering.
