What is Sip& Craft - Beaded Embroidery Edition Edition?

Try out beaded embroidery, while sipping drinks, and connecting with others. During the workshop you will get started on your embroidery piece, with all the tools, materials, and guidance provided. Once the workshop is over, take all the beads and threads you need and finish your creation at home at your own pace. You will get access to digital beaded embroidery guide that you can always look back to.

This workshop is beginner friendly and fits any age (above 18) and style.

What can I embroider?

Anything you want! As long as it's 8x8 cm. You can embroider anything you already have in mind, get inspired by the inspo-board that we provide, or choose from our bank of illustrations.

IMPORTANT:

If you don't want to embroider on clothes, we will provide a cut of fabric that you can use. This way, you can keep the embroidery as an art piece.

If you want to embroider on clothes, please bring your own clothes. We recommend non-stretch medium-weight fabrics, such as cotton or linen, especially for beginners. Slightly stretchy fabrics would work as well.

Would not work:

• Any thick fabric;
• Thick denim;
• Very delicate and/or slippery fabric (chiffon, tulle, satin, silk);
• Knits.

Info: The host will get you introduced to the material selection, tools, and getting started on your jembroidery. You can browse our inspo Pinterest board to get the ideas flowing if needed.

Info: Decide upon what you are embroidering, choose the beads, and dive right into it! Catch up with your friends, make new connections with the workshop neighbours, or get into your creative meditative zone - this part of the workshop is for you to enjoy in your own preferred way.

Info: Get your goody bag ready - pack the beads, thread, needle, and embroidery hoop you have been using to finish your embroidery after the workshop.
