About this Event
Four wines. Four cheese pairings. One of West London's best French wine bars.
L'ami Jac on Shepherd's Bush Road in Hammersmith is the setting for an intimate wine and cheese tasting evening on 30th March. A proper French wine bar with a serious cellar and a kitchen that delivers.
The evening runs through four pairings:
- Cabernet Franc, Chinon, Loire Valley paired with baked camembert with garlic and honey
- Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina paired with duck rillette, toasts and gherkins
- Pinot Noir, Loire Valley paired with parmigiana, fresh mozzarella and basil
- Merlot, Languedoc paired with a cheese and charcuterie board
Each pour is 75ml, giving you a proper taste of four distinct reds across the evening. The format is relaxed and the room is kept small, so the atmosphere stays warm and the conversation flows.
Good for couples, friends, or coming alone.
