On Friday 6th March 2026, the theatre upstairs at The Actors Pub in Kemptown will be filled with the wondrous sounds of Siobhán Sarelle. A regular host and performer at the Sunday music open mic at The Actors, Siobhán celebrates her 51st birthday later in March.Siobhán Sarelle is a queer, trans, and neurodivergent musician. She is known in Brighton for her beautiful mandolin playing and vocals. Siobhán’s creative spirit is a fundamental part of who she is, like a deep, sometimes stormy ocean of all she is, but music is always a constant, safe, lifelong companion.
Siobhán loves to improvise and weaves powerful, emotional songs that arise from within her, spontaneously in the moment. She sings from her heart about forests, water, light, shadows, grief, love and beauty, making connections with listeners with her deep and magical emotional landscapes.
For this event, Siobhán will be performing alongside her friends and regular Actors Music Open mic musicians, George Hannington (drums), Paul Rutter (bass guitar), and Zoë Ravenwood (guitar, percussion).

British-American multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Zoë Ravenwood became a being of pure sound after getting bit by a radioactive David Bowie LP in her youth.
Often compared to artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Joni Mitchell, and Lucinda Williams, Zoë blends neo-folk/indie-rock songwriting style and lyricism with eclectic-yet-accessible alternate tunings, rhythms, and structure.
Whether on festival stages, in dimly-lit listening rooms, or at intimate house shows, Zoë has gained a reputation for emotionally-charged, evocative performances that leave a lasting impact on her audiences around the US and beyond.
Zoë recently relocated to the UK, and is finishing work on a new album, ‘Welcome To The World', featuring guest performances by members of The Crane Wives and Lachlan Bryan (Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, The Pleasures)
