We are thrilled that beloved bestselling Irish author Sinéad Gleeson will join us at WORD Christchurch for one night only.
Set on a wild and remote island, Gleeson's highly anticipated new novel 'Hagstone' is a beautifully written and hauntingly atmospheric look at art, human nature, folklore, the mysteries of faith and the magic of the natural world.
Gleeson is also author of the stunning essay collection 'Constellations: Reflections of Life', editor of 'The Art of the Glimpse: 100 Irish Short Stories', and co-edited 'This Woman’s Work: Essays on Music' with Kim Gordon.
She joins WORD Christchurch’s Programme Director Kiran Dass in conversation.
Books will be for sale thanks to our friends at UBS and Sinéad will be on hand to sign copies.
In partnership with Culture Ireland, Auckland Writers Festival, Verb Wellington, and HarperCollins New Zealand.
