Join us for a beautiful beach walk, guided tour + climb the tower for a spectacular view of Fire Island

Fire Island Lighthouse is an important Long Island landmark for transatlantic ships coming into New York Harbor since 1826. For many European immigrants, the Fire Island Light was their first sight of land upon arrival in America before seeing the Statute of Liberty NYC arrival .

FIRST TIME to our events ? then purchase ticket
? WHERE to MEET 10:15am far right waterfront corner of field #5 Robert Moses
We begin by taking the boardwalk approximately one mile to the lighthouse from the Robert Moses Parking lot field #5
When we reach the Lighthouse, we will take our guided tour
Tower Ascent: There are 192 steps to climb from the bottom to the top of the lighthouse, but its well worth it! The view from the tower top is always amazing.
*OPTIONAL ? After our guided tour of the Fire Island Lighthouse, we will continue to walk another mile on the sand to Kismet beach to have lunch.
Fitness info - Approximately 5 miles walking round trip + 192 step climbing at the lighthouse.
