We get it. That's exactly why Up2Date IRL exists.

We don't do speed dating. We don't do awkward "tell me about yourself" circles. We do slow dating - a format built around genuine conversation, low-pressure fun, and actual human connection.

This time, we're adding board games to the mix. Because nothing breaks the ice faster than a little friendly competition over a Starbucks cup.

What is a Slow Dating Mixer?

Think of it as a curated evening where a small group of interesting, verified singles come together - not to pitch themselves, but to actually enjoy the night.

Games are facilitated by our host, conversations happen naturally, and if a spark shows up, great. If not, you still had a genuinely good evening.

No pressure. No awkward silences. No swiping.

The registration does not confirm a seat at the event as a quick 'Vibe check' form has to be filled through which one will be screened.

How the evening works:

• You arrive, grab your drink, and settle in
• Our host introduces the games and gets everyone warmed up
• Participants are grouped by similar age so conversations flow naturally
• The host rotates games and facilitates new rounds so you meet everyone in the room
• The evening wraps with open social time - exchange contacts if you'd like, no one's forcing anything

Important: Registration ≠ Confirmed Seat

Once you register, you'll receive a Vibe Check form that must be filled out. Our team reviews every response and handpicks attendees to ensure the group dynamic is right for everyone. You'll receive a confirmation only after being selected. This isn't to be exclusive for the sake of it — it's to protect your experience.

Who is this for?

Singles between 21-45 years of age. Participants will be seated with others in a similar age bracket so the energy and conversation feel right. We welcome individuals who are single, widowed, divorced, separated, or single parents. Strictly no married or committed individuals.

Ground Rules (please read before registering):

• Carry a valid photo ID - entry is strictly for singles aged 21–45
• A Starbucks voucher is included and will be served by the venue during the event window only
• Refunds are not applicable for no-shows. Refunds are only processed if you are not selected during the screening process
• The organizing team will not share anyone's contact information. Participants share their own details at their own discretion
• We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior - violations result in immediate removal with no refund
• Please come well-groomed and dressed appropriately for the setting
• Our team will photograph the event for social media use. If you'd prefer not to be featured, let us know in advance and we'll respect that
• Any interactions, connections, or outcomes between participants are solely the responsibility of the individuals involved. Up2Date IRL and venue partners bear no liability
