Thaks Ali is a recording project, turned Copenhagen based band
‘Couldn’t Say Never’ is the latest single and to celebrate, they’ll play a show at Dispensary- a night of beer/Whisk(e)y and live music.
Recorded/mixed over a few years in Copenhagen, Ha Long Bay, The Blue Mountains and Beijing. Hopefully the track finds itself as spicy as the Szechuan sauce left on the laptop keys whilst mixing at the airport.
Digging the jams of Paz Lenchantin, 70’s 8 string bassists and the resurgence of modernised psychedelia in the 2010’s, dual bass led songs are played with a pillow of effects and synths. And reverb. Loads of it.
Come hang for some beers and bass.
